UX/UI Designer
UX Specialist
The UX/UI Designer will relentlessly advocate for the customer, inspiring others to push the boundaries when creating user experiences that show our dedication for customerâ??s financesâ??up to and through retirement. They will conceptualize these experiences through collaboration, sketching, storyboarding, information modeling and other methods.
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in user experience, digital design, and a demonstrated ability to produce clean and simple layouts using components that solve customersâ?? needs.Â

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with UX, product and technology partners to fully understand the customer journey, potential gaps and opportunities.
Using a mobile-first mindset, create end-to-end experiences beginning with low- to high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, visual designs, and documentation as needed throughout the design process to appropriately communicate the experience.
Continually explore the competitive landscape and trends within the financial service market.
Maintain a working knowledge of emerging user interface, interaction design standards and best practices.
Partner with technology partners to ensure technical feasibility and review implementation of the experience.

Required :
3+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, Visual Designer, or similar role
Proficiency in presenting creative work, highlighting the customer journey, and defending the design rationale, both internally and externally
Flexibility to iterate on experiences, negotiating feedback from collaborative partners in real time
Experience with multi-device design and responsive design
Experience with design software
Preferred :
5+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, Visual Designer, or similar role
A passion for being the voice of the user and a proven track-record building user-centric solutions
Strong verbal and visual communication, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Experience with collaborative design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision and Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience with agile methodologies (ideally, SAFe framework)
Experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS)
Experience with mobile iOS & Android
Comfortable working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment
Financial services experience preferred
Base Pay Range: $84,300/yr. - $140,500/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).Â
