Detailed Job Description

Description:

• You will create systems and process frameworks to improve coverage & accuracy of the catalog to help power existing & new merchants across Convenience, Grocery and Alcohol Mx.
• You’ll partner with internal stakeholders in executing a best-in-class catalog strategy which helps customers shop from their favorite merchants through platform.
• You will develop and drive processes to audit for catalog quality
• You will manage an external team of contractors who run quality audits across catalog
• You will partner with engineers and data scientists to provide feedback to improve models
• You will maintain and update accurate information (i.e.- names, pictures, product descriptions) for all products across Convenience and Grocery catalogs

What you’ll do:

• Lead. You will define the catalog quality strategy i.e. what is the north star definition for a perfect sku, how do we close the gaps gaps in information for skus ( e.g.- how to get multiple images, nutritional facts, warning labels etc) and bring the north star vision to life across millions of skus across the Convenience, Grocery and Alcohol business.
• Build. You will build and manage a team of external contractors who run quality audits across catalog. You will define and set the audit process strategy, create and monitor feedback loops and iteratively improve catalog quality
• Strategize. You will develop and drive the processes and technological solutions to audit for catalog quality
• Collaborate. You will partner and collaborate with product managers, software engineers and internal stakeholders to drive roadmap decisions to build an overarching catalog platform. The goal of the platform is to enable faster merchant onboarding and catalog matching across different merchants
• Analyze. You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data
