Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a People Strategy Manager to join our People Strategy team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role

The People Strategy team ensures managers across the company are coached and held accountable to their strategic, operational, and people management responsibilities. The team also provides leaders with human capital expertise and partnership.

This role helps leaders across Oscar align their strategic outcomes to broader company objectives, ensure they have quality roadmaps to achieve those outcomes, and ultimately ensure they are delivering measurable business impact. Learning the functions' operations so you can assess their effectiveness and ROI, as well as provide feedback and insight on the function (and the leader's) performance. Very importantly, you'll partner with them to ensure they are coached, supported, and able to work through human capital processes such as performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, diversity, benefits, etc.

Ultimately, this job is about problem solving: helping managers fix the issues in front of them, helping them spot problems they don't see, and guiding them to plan a clear road for the future.
