About the team
Designers working on Stripe's revenue management team build products
that help users manage and grow recurring revenue, send and receive B2B
payments, and provide users with a clear understanding of their revenue
and financial data. We're obsessed with providing entrepreneurs and
enterprises a radically better experience to build, grow, and understand
their business. We agonize over and take pride in crafting user-friendly
and user-focused experiences.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
Specialize in one of our core product areas and work closely withengineers and product managers to define both the long-term strategy
and the short-term tactics for that product
Work with engineers and product managers to define both the long-term
strategy and the short-term tactics for our products
Work closely with designers on your team to develop and expand product
design systems
Sometimes work on very broadly defined, loose concepts, and sometimes
on narrowly defined, tactical deliverables
Focus on what you do best — whether that’s sketches, wireframes,
prototypes, designs, or code—and you’ll have the opportunity to
sharpen the skills you’re looking to develop
Work in a highly collaborative fashion with the design, product, and
project teams
Partner closely with our user research team and support ongoing
research projects
Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the
design and company leadership
We're looking for someone who:
Can reduce complex problems down to the right balance of flexibility,power, and ease of use
Has experience designing for business and developer-focused products
Keeps pushing their work until all details are attended to
Is skilled in explaining their work, process, and decisions to
cross-functional stakeholders and craves feedback to help produce the
best work
Is an expert in either UI, UX, or visual design, but is skilled in
more disciplines across product design
Cares about details and is excited to keep pushing the work until it
is pixel-perfect
Thinks in systems and is able to extrapolate and extend shared
patterns and behaviors
Has 4+ years relevant product design experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Is uncompromisingly service-minded towards our users and yourcolleagues, but able to set and achieve priorities that find the
perfect balance between benefiting the project, the Design team, and
all of Stripe
Comfortable working autonomously through ambiguity, taking ownership
of identifying problems and creating solutions
Love working with other designers to help them learn and grow—and have
them help you learn and grow
You might work on:
Accounting Products — Products and features to reduce the toilassociated with core finance jobs, like monthly books closing
Recurring Revenue — Tools, features, and products to empower
businesses to efficiently build, manage and grow recurring revenue
Business Intelligence — Tools and products to help users understand
their flow of money through Stripe through the creation of reports,
analytics, and insights

Pay & Benefits
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is C$148,400 - C$200,800. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
