Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant

Aston Carter is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative with a healthcare client located in Albany, NY. This position is fully in office and requires COVID-19 vaccination

Job Description:

• Order Entry - process orders from Center Customers received via fax or mail into LAWSON (computer system) for processing.

• Express package services - utilizing PC based shipping systems to assist customers in preparing packages for outbound shipment; using requisition form, completes all required data and secures packages for later pickup by vendor.

• Receipt of POs on hold - uses computer to perform paperwork receipt of material for POs that were shipped before body of PO was entered.

• Track Pad - performs inbound scanning of all non- PO packages by recipients and or departments name. Sorts all scanned packages on delivery vehicles in logical floor order sequence, move carts into distribution areas for delivery.

• Order Delivery - assists staff with physical delivery of orders on carts and obtains signature of receipt of goods where necessary.

Mail Delivery - deliveries USPS mail and picks- up outgoing mail throughout the hospital and college areas.

• Courier Dispatching - Records all required data onto the courier dispatch form: contacts couriers via cell phone and relays service information; follows-up with Courier Group regarding service delays, and or concerns.

Pay Rate:

$13-15/hr based on experience

Hours:

7AM - 3:30PM Monday-Friday
