Job Description:

The Senior Hospitality Specialist invests in the future of Southwest s Peop le by educat ing frontline Employees on the importance of Hospitality and the role it plays in winning Customers . This role will primarily support Operational and Commercial workgroups a nd offer them tools and resources to create positive Hospitality moments across their Team s . The y also assist with various projects such as coordinating Hospitality Summits, creating presentatio ns, and supporting the President s Council meetings. The Senior Hospitality Specialist will being their strong interpersonal and communication skills to this growing Team that ensures Employees and Customers feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required , and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available.
For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company .

Responsibilities
Partner with and assist the Manager in organizing events, meetings, and initiatives designed to promote and improve Hospitality across multiple departments
Assist with development of Hospitality strategy based on needs and requirements of partners
Communicate Hospitality messages through multiple forums and channels (email, presentations, slides, etc.) to audiences inclusive of Frontline Employees and Executives
Identify and implement opportunities to disseminate Hospitality across the Company, leveraging partnerships and Leadership support
Interact with and inform Leaders on the status of initiatives
Oversee the development and implementation of initiatives that impact the Hospitality delivered to both Employees and Customers
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Preferred : Experience with public speaking
Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing Customer Service
Communicating effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats in a manner that is tailored to audience level knowledge
Looking actively for ways to help people
The ability to listen, understand and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
The ability to produce unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem
The ability to produce several ideas about a topic (the number of ideas is important, not their quality, correctness, or creativity)
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
Customer Service
Hospitality
Licensing/Certification
N/A
Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be able to comply with Company standards in terms of workplace location policy for noncontract, HDQ Employees
Must be able to travel occasionally with overnight stays required
Must be able to occasionally be in attendance for before/after-hours work for Company or Department events
