Senior Analyst; Actuarial - FIN Strategic Innovation

In this role, you will support the Cross-Enterprise Strategic Innovation (CESI) organization by providing operational and financial performance evaluation across Aetna's Utilization Management programs to optimize performance, identify new medical cost saving opportunities and accurately explain the financial impacts to the Aetna P/L.
You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to build complex financial models and build business cases that inform leadership investment decisions.
This role provides significant visibility to cross-functional teams and leadership including Finance, Clinical Strategy, Medical Economics, Analytics and more.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with SAI, Data Science and other teams to identify, develop, and evaluate opportunities across medical cost, administrative cost, clinical services and consumer and provider experience categories Build complex financial modeling and sound business cases that supports executive decisions and improves implementation readiness Develop and improve analytical tools to bring transparency, originate new ideas and provide early warnings / triggers for potential intervention Establish structured processes by leveraging portfolio management methodologies to provide long term visibility and sustained generation of opportunitiesPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:

The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Associationship in the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or 2/3 exams completed and passed 3+ years of Excel and PowerPoint experience 3+ years of financial modeling experience with ability to build models from scratch and optimize existing models 2+ years of experience with healthcare industry research and analysis including competitor analysis and benchmarking reportsPreferred Qualifications 2+ years of creating executive-level presentations 2+ years of project and program management experience 3+ years of healthcare industry background, particularly in a Finance, Medical Economics, or Actuarial role Exposure to senior leadership with proven written and verbal communication skills Strong technical, analytical, financial and data manipulation and visualization tools experience (e.g.
