Hardware
- Knowledge organic and inorganic thin film process or mechanical or chemical behavior
- Theoretical Knowledge in thin film mechanics, physics, material chemistry or optics is an optional plus
- Hands on Experience in ALD/PECVD is an optional plus
- Ability to model thin films through FEA or first principles is an optional plus
Description
- Determine future of OLED display product design and performance based on evolution thin film physics technology - Establish requirements in-terms thin film physical behavior - Quantify physical, optical, mechanical and electrical properties of ALD and PECVD films through analytical technics - Collaborate with display manufactures to implement, validate and realize Apple's Industrial Design targets - Play key role in component testing and validation with in-depth failure analysis
Education & Experience
Preferred requirements: - Ph. D. or Masters in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
